The Artist

I’m Lisa Hignett, creative designer, artist and animator based in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

I'm the creator of Loof & Timmy an online animation series starring the characters Loof the loaf and Timmy T-Rex that I run with my partner Alex. I design animated GIFs for our official GIPHY channel that have been shared over 4 billion times worldwide. We have a growing Loof & Timmy fan base and have an official merchandise range including plush toys, clothing and stationary. We also regularly attend Comic Cons.

Prior to this I have worked as a freelance game artist, character designer, character rigger, storyboard artist, illustrator, animator and portrait artist having worked for two marketing and mobile gaming agencies for over 5 years. I am sometimes open to side projects of personal interest.

I’ve always enjoyed traditional pencil drawing since I was a child. I've been creating freelance pet portraits for 15 years and I particularly love equine and canine art!
